Storm Damage
Hail Damage
Hail Damage Appearance
Hail pounds roof vents and damages roof shingles through the matting.
Inspecting Hail Damage
Eagle USA estimaators are experienced roofing contractors with hundreds of roof inspections under their belt to determine whether or not you have true roof damage.
Wind Damage
Exposure to high winds can cause shingles to tear or blow off of the roof, increasing the degree of water damage inside the building when such winds are accompanied by rain.
Primary Cause of Wind Damage
After the Storm
The primary cause of wind damage is from the partial vacuum created by wind blowing over the edge of the roof. This air pushes up on the bottom side of the roof assembly and, over time, loosens fasteners and breaks the adhesion making the roof susceptible to damage from the next moderate or strong wind.
Hail damage on a roof looks kind of like a bruise. If the hail stones are large then there will be some pretty good indentations.
Storms can do great harm to roofs. After the storm has completely passed, you should immediately have it checked for roof damage. Our trained professionals can inspect and photograph the damage and work directly with your insurance company to expedite the process of repair or replacement of your roof.
